Job summary

MedTrans is seeking a Driver to operate a Class A vehicle on local routes, delivering life-saving medical products to commercial and residential customers. Drivers are home daily with our local routes and receive comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

The role requires a minimum 2 years of tractor trailer experience with a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and compliance with safety regulations. We offer competitive pay and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience (Class A CDL) and clean driving record.
• Ability to meet Federal/State requirements for operation of CMVs.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between facility and customer destinations.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to customers and document delivery details.
• Communicate with dispatch to adjust routes or schedules as needed.
• Maintain travel and cargo logs per regulations and policy.
• Perform vehicle inspections and ensure adequate fuel for operations.

Job Summary

MedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers that delivers our lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 2,100+ trucks that feature newer equipment. We manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally and provide 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States. The Driver is responsible for operating a Class A vehicle to transport life-saving medical products to our local customers. The Driver plays a critical role in building positive relationships with our customers by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries. HOURLY RATE FOR THIS ROLE IS $25.75/HR

Job Description Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Abide by Medline’s safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks, etc.
• Unload and deliver product at our customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to the customer – addressing their questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to delivery route or schedule in order to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued vehicle use.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience Class A CDL; Licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
• Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.

The anticipated salary range for this position: $24.50 - $35.50 Hourly. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
