Job summary

Mindscope in Oakdale, NY seeks an experienced dispatcher for an oil and gas client to coordinate daily delivery routes, communicate with drivers and customers, and ensure efficient, professional deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Support drivers by resolving delivery questions and issues.
• Document and process driver incident reports.
• Set up COD customer accounts.
• Process online fuel orders for COD customers.
• Assist drivers with troubleshooting delivery technology.
• Perform dispatch and administrative duties as needed.

Our client, an oil and gas company located in Oakdale, NY, is looking to bring on an experienced dispatcher to join their team. Candidates with routing/dispatch, and customer service experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Function

This position will help coordinate daily delivery routes, communicate with drivers and customers, and ensure deliveries are handled efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Send text messages and/or make pre-delivery calls to customers as needed.
• Prepare, organize, and print routes for the following day’s deliveries.
• Monitor daily routes and identify stops that can be postponed when a driver is running behind schedule; communicate with drivers before they return and reschedule or reassign deliveries as appropriate.
• Provide customer service and assistance to both COD and full-service customers.
• Support drivers throughout the day by helping resolve delivery-related questions and issues.
• Document and process driver incident reports.
• Set up new COD customer accounts when needed.
• Process online fuel orders for COD customers.
• Assist drivers with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to their tablets or other delivery technology.
• Perform other dispatch and administrative duties as needed.

November 1 – April 1:

11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Plus one Saturday per month, 8:0 AM – 4:30 PM (overtime)
