The City of Middletown is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Police/Fire 911 Dispatcher. This position involves managing emergency communications, requiring successful completion of assessments and examinations. The salary ranges from $43,557 to $60,209 annually, with additional benefits and opportunities for overtime.
To establish an Eligible List for the classification of Police/Fire 911 Dispatcher, the City of Middletown will conduct an open competitive examination.All applicants will be required to take a written and listening examination on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Primary responsibilities for this position include receiving, dispatching, and processing calls and messages for police, fire and rescue services. Dispatchers rotate through three separate shifts. Qualified candidates selected for further processing will complete interview, background check, polygraph exams, and a psychological assessment. Salary Range:$43,557 to $60,209 annually plus shift differential, opportunity for overtime, and comprehensive benefits.
