Job summary

Ironclad Environmental Solutions is seeking a skilled Dispatcher to ensure timely delivery and pickup of units while enforcing safety and DOT regulations. You will manage drivers and yard operations across multiple branches, schedule shipments, and track progress using the RentalMan system.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1 year of dispatching experience, and knowledge of DOT rules, with beneficial RCRA/HazWopper certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• 1 year of experience with dispatching preferred.
• Familiar with scheduling and dispatching concepts.
• Knowledge of DOT and state safety regulations.
• RCRA / Hazwopper certification a plus.
• Environmental Waste experience a plus.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure driver and dispatch safety by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
• Manage drivers and yard operations across multiple branches, including scheduling and assigning vehicles.
• Plan and review upcoming deliveries/pickups and enter assignments into RentalMan.
• Track driver progress, troubleshoot issues, and set daily/weekly priorities.
• Conduct driver performance discussions, training, and ensure delivery/pick-up documentation.
• Communicate with customers for scheduling, delivery/pick-up updates, and answer related questions.
• Maintain and file daily/weekly/monthly logs, maintenance records, and trucking profit margins.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hauling services and transportation permits.
• Collaborate with branch and corporate sales for scheduling.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
