Job summary

Freight Sales, Inc. is seeking a Dispatch professional to join our growing team. You will coordinate and dispatch deliveries, monitor driver DOT logs, track vehicle locations, and develop efficient routes to maximize profitability.

You’ll support drivers, customers, and the business by ensuring safety, compliance, and timely communications. A high school diploma or GED and experience in logistics or operations are preferred. Proficiency with Excel or Google Workspace helps.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
• Monitor and review driver DOT logs to ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Track and manage vehicle locations using the company’s tracking system to optimize routes and performance.
• Develop and maintain delivery routes and schedules that maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Set and uphold performance standards for drivers to ensure quality and consistency of service.
• Review and verify driver delivery paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers by addressing inquiries and resolving delivery-related concerns promptly.
• Investigate and resolve delivery issues, including spills, delays, or accidents, in accordance with company safety and compliance procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

Coordinate and dispatch deliveries in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
