Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) in Frisco, TX, seeks an overnight Dispatcher to support drivers and transportation teams across time zones. You will monitor fleet activity, respond to delays, and coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to maintain on-time deliveries.

The role requires 2+ years in transportation or logistics, strong communication, and proficiency with dispatch systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in transportation, dispatch, logistics, or food distribution.
• Experience working with drivers in fast-paced transportation operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Familiarity with Samsara/Coretex360/iBright/Descartes or similar dispatch systems.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.

• Prepare shift handoffs, nightly recaps, and operational reports to support leadership decision-making.

Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, QCD services thousands of restaurants throughout the United States. Providing over 37,000 deliveries a week from 25 strategically located distribution centers, the QCD fleet averages more than 40 million miles driven per year. Dispatcher - Frisco, TX

In This Role You'll

• Support drivers and transportation teams across multiple time zones during overnight operations
• Monitor fleet activity using GPS, telematics, and dispatch systems to ensure on-time deliveries

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in transportation, dispatch, logistics, or food distribution
• Experience working directly with drivers in a fast-paced transportation environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Familiarity with Samsara, Coretex 360, iBright, Descartes, or similar dispatch and tracking systems
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation safety practices, and problem-solving techniques

The Schedule & Setting

• Full-time, on-site at Frisco, TX
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Typical start times are 7:00 PM or 9:00 PM
• Overnight schedule supporting nationwide operations
• Availability required on weekends and holidays
• Fast-paced environment supporting drivers, customers, and distribution centers
