Dispatcher – Frisco, TX
In This Role You'll:
- Support drivers and transportation teams across multiple time zones during overnight operations
- Monitor fleet activity using GPS, telematics, and dispatch systems to ensure on-time deliveries
- Respond to driver issues including delays, breakdowns, route changes, and device troubleshooting
- Review safety events, reefer compliance, and transportation exceptions while escalating concerns as needed
- Communicate delivery delays and service issues with customers and internal stakeholders
- Prepare shift handoffs, nightly recaps, and operational reports to support leadership decision-making
What You'll Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in transportation, dispatch, logistics, or food distribution
- Experience working directly with drivers in a fast-paced transportation environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Familiarity with Samsara, Coretex 360, iBright, Descartes, or similar dispatch and tracking systems
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation safety practices, and problem-solving techniques
The Schedule & Setting:
- Full-time, on-site at [Location]
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Typical start times are 7:00 PM or 9:00 PM
- Overnight schedule supporting nationwide operations
- Availability required on weekends and holidays
- Fast-paced environment supporting drivers, customers, and distribution centers
