Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) in Pineville, NC is hiring a Local Class B CDL Driver to join a busy last-mile team delivering to restaurants across the area.

You’ll operate a diesel tractor-trailer on local routes, load and unload safely, complete DOT logs, and maintain equipment while supporting a 24/7 operation with night shifts.

QCD offers weekly pay, generous benefits after 30 days, a 401(k), holidays, and uniforms, with opportunities to grow within Golden State Foods family.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B driver’s license with DOT medical card.
• At least 2 years of Box Truck driving experience in food service or beverage delivery.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in multi-temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes with no layovers.
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers.
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks in a touch-freight setting.
• Complete vehicle inspections and maintain DOT logs.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and teammates.
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance.

Local Class B CDL Driver – Pineville, NC

In This Role, You’ll:

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes - no layovers

• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks - this is atouch-freightrole
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveriesare in compliance

What You’ll Bring:

• ValidClass B Driverw/current DOT medical card and at least 2+ yearsof Box Truckdriving experience infood service orbeveragedelivery.
• Ability to lift 5-75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers)
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulations

The Schedule & Setting:

• Class B Dispatches: Monday - Saturday: 11:00pm-5:00am
• Must be available fornights, weekends, and holidays
• All trailers equipped withliftgates-no ramps
• Touchfreight- withrepetitive lifting75+lbs
