Job summary

Transdev in Everett, WA is seeking a Dispatcher to oversee road service and support Operators and customers with a safety‑oriented approach.

The role requires 3–5 years dispatching experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and flexibility to work shifts. Starting pay is $27.30 per hour with progression to $30.68 per hour over four years, plus vacation, sick leave, medical/dental/vision, and 401k benefits.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Technical degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience dispatching.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee road service by tracking trip performance measures, route on‑time start, performance, incidents, etc.
  • Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips, including no shows, cancellations, and missed trips.
  • Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators; act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services. Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
  • Other duties as required.
