Job summary

UtiliQuest, LLC is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate schedules, assign tasks, and streamline communication between customers, technicians, and departments. You’ll monitor work status, update logs, and ensure timely completion of service requests with precision and safety in mind.

You’ll manage and prioritize technician workloads, dispatch orders and messages, track progress, and maintain accurate records across multiple systems. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• At least one year of previous dispatch experience is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Basic computer skills is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize technician schedules, tasks and quotas to efficiently meet customer needs.
• Dispatch orders, messages, and special instructions to technicians and other departments.
• Track work status, provide updates, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Create, manage, and close tickets while updating logs as needed.
• Handle and process data from multiple sources.
• Create maps, upload permits, and handle related documentation.
• Keep records of service calls and work orders.
• Monitor and respond to customer and technician communications to resolve scheduling or service conflicts.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• At least one year of previous dispatch experience is preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Basic computer skills is preferred

• Routinely: use keyboard & mouse
• Occasionally: climb stairs, stand, walk and operate vehicle

The wage range for Dispatcher is $20.00 - $24.00.
