As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for organizing the daily dispatch of equipment for a Trench Safety branch in a safe and timely manner. You will maximize the efficiency of UR owned assets and outside resources. Our customers depend on us to deliver and pick up on time. Without you, they cannot meet their operational needs, which is why we seek a professional with integrity who respects and understands the demands of the job.

What You'll Do

• Schedule UR Drivers and outside haulers daily with proactive planning
• Manage changes to the schedule to meet customer demands
• Coordinate inter-company transfer hauling
• Communicate driver schedules and expectations
• Become an expert on dispatch systems, supporting applications, and processes
• Participate in daily branch planning meetings
• Monitor and meet dispatch metrics
• Provide excellent service to external and internal customers
• Communicate clearly and honestly with the team
• Assist with customer orders for deliveries, pickups, and services
• Support inside sales team as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong commitment to safety
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable record
• Knowledge of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier regulations
