Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Supervisor - Dispatch at East Boulder Mine in McLeod, MT. The role oversees rail and truck flows, coordinating ore and waste movement while maintaining interdepartmental communications.

Ideal candidates bring underground mining knowledge, supervisory experience, and strong safety and regulatory awareness, including MSHA requirements; prior dispatching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Understands underground mining safety, production, and costs.
• Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills.
• Proven communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safe, efficient movement of traffic on rail and coordinate ore/waste transfer.
• Maintain communications between underground and surface facilities.
• Monitor landline, radio, and mine phone systems.
• Recordkeeping of communications and shift-by-shift information transfer.
• Coordinate flow of material through non-supervised staff; drive improvements.
• Assist emergencies and understand ERP and response documents.
• Oversee end-of-shift blasting and drug/alcohol testing duties.
• Collaborate with other dispatch coordinators and supervise front-line tasks.
