The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the accurate and on-time dispatch of customer orders while maintaining high inventory accuracy standards. This role leads daily dispatch operations, supervises warehouse staff, drives productivity, ensures compliance with operational processes, and promotes a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Dispatch

• Supervise day-to-day dispatch activities and warehouse staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor workload, labor allocation, and operational performance.
• Support inventory control, stock investigations, and location accuracy initiatives.
• Maintain dispatch dashboards and operational reporting.

Planning & Productivity

• Forecast labor requirements and workload one week in advance.
• Analyze customer order volumes and productivity trends.
• Develop staffing plans to support operational demands.
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly standard work activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop Dispatch Team Members.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and workplace morale.
• Provide on-the-job training and support employee development.
• Ensure all team members complete required training programs.

Reporting & Administration

• Complete beginning and end-of-day operational reporting.
• Track productivity metrics by customer/account.
• Document absenteeism and workforce performance data.
• Maintain accurate records within company systems.
