Transdev in Concord, CA is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to ensure efficient scheduling and to provide Operators with timely instructions for safe, reliable operation.

The role emphasizes safety, strong communication, and hands-on dispatch authority, with potential staff discipline responsibilities as needed.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Responsabilidades

• Overseas responsive, flexible, and effective dispatch operations.
• Ensure proactive communication with in-service drivers.
• Monitors focus lists (if applicable).
• Maintains drivers' and dispatchers' focus on daily systemwide priorities.
• Has immediate “on-the-ground" authority over dispatch operations.
• May recommend staff discipline to management or have authority to discipline staff directly.

Dispatch Supervisor

Transdev in Concord, CA, is hiring a Dispatch Supervisor. Our Dispatch Supervisor ensures the Dispatch team fills all the routes and provides Operators with timely instructions and responses. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Non-CBA Position:

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $28.39 – Maximum $32.75 / hour

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
• Sick days: 5 days
• Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
