Job summary

Pacific Aviation is seeking a Flight Operations Manager to lead and mentor our flight operations team at our West Coast stations. You will oversee dispatch, weight & balance, weather briefing, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe, on-time operations.

You will build staff schedules, manage budgets, and liaise with customers, airports, vendors and authorities. A FAA Flight Dispatch License and 5+ years in Flight Operations are required; strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in Flight Operations.
• FAA Flight Dispatch License required.
• Knowledge of flight planning software and related tools.
• Training in CFR 14 PART 121, 129, 135; CFR 14 PART 120, CFR 49 PART 40.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates flight operation and control activities through Dispatchers and subordinate staff.
• Oversee preparation/filing of computerized Flight and ATC plans for international routes.
• Provide weather/operational briefings and analyze NOTAMs for safe operations.
• Manage Flight Operations and Weight & Balance departments and report to upper management.

About The Position

Pacific Aviation is looking for a Flight Operations Manager to support and mentor our team.

Flight Operations

• Directs and coordinates through Flight Dispatcher's and subordinate personnel, flight operation and control activities

of regional stations.

Experience Required

• Experience of Five years in Flight Operations
• FAA Flight Dispatch License
• Knowledge of SITA/ARINC/LIDO/JEPPESEN/SABER communication/ flight planning software preferred
• Per carrier assignment, training required in CFR 14 PART 121, 129,135, CFR 14 PART 120, CFR 49 PART 40
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies/ Airports
• Capable to perform aircraft performance

• Oversee and manage Flight Operations and Weight & Balance departments
• Liaise with Upper Management, Clients, Vendors, Airport and Government Authorities to ensure station activities are in compliance with Federal, State, Company and Airline regulations
• Manage and develop personnel (Flight Dispatch and Weight & Balance) to maximize operational performance in areas of on-time performance, staffing, training and safety
• Administrative duties include preparation of staff work schedules to obtain optimum utilization of human resources and facilities
• Prepare and submit reports pertaining to flight operations, payroll and Client billing
• Operate within the budget
