Job summary

Geiger Ready-Mix Co is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to help customers get the right concrete to the right jobsite at the right time. This role focuses on order intake, dispatch entry, and coordinating with delivery teams to keep a fast-moving schedule on track.

You will learn ready-mix terminology, communicate clearly with customers and teammates, and grow within a family-owned company in the Kansas City area. Starting pay is $24/hour with opportunities for increased pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to enter information accurately while handling phone/radio communications.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and gather order information including concrete mix needs and delivery details.
• Enter customer orders accurately into the dispatch system.
• Communicate with customers about order details, schedule changes, and options.
• Work with dispatch, plant managers, and teammates to ensure smooth orders.
• Learn ready-mix terminology, customer patterns, and jobsite needs.
• Maintain a calm, professional tone with customers and teammates.
• Assist with scheduling deliveries and monitoring truck status as you gain experience.
