Qualifications

• Five years lumber experience or five years experience as truck driver/dispatching
• Strong knowledge of DOT compliance regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to model Capital values and provide innovative solutions
• Detail oriented with high quality results in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work autonomously when necessary
• English communication skills (verbal/written)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and contain transportation costs; develop spreadsheets for delivery zones and routes
• Assist Operations Manager in scheduling inbound material through third party logistics
• Schedule customer deliveries in coordination with logistics, Operations, and Sales
• Process shipping manifests and ASN reports daily
• Support inventory accuracy and cycle counts; assist with backup order fulfillment and forklift duties
