Amrize is seeking a Dispatch I - RMX in Eagan, MN to oversee on-time deliveries, driver scheduling, and order accuracy while ensuring DOT compliance. The role emphasizes customer communication, policy adherence, and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of trucking or dispatch experience, strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and safety in mind.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of industry experience required.
• Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet.

Responsibilities

• Act as customer contact for delivery inquiries and coordinate the sales order delivery.
• Manage incoming calls and exercise sound judgment within standard practices.
• Ensure customers understand policies including will calls, additional products, and driver responsibilities.
• Inform customers of warnings on product hazards, load limits, vehicle weights, and limits.
• Schedule drivers daily to maximize service and minimize costs; monitor efficiencies.
• Review next day orders for correct mapping, travel times, addresses, and delivery instructions.
• Other duties as assigned and safety-focused actions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for on time performance, order accuracy and maintaining and growing overall truck fleet while maintaining DOT compliance.Assist in growing the company’s hauler selection, DOT compliance, assure compliance with company policies, risk management, DOT and other regulatory requirements. Develop current customer base.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Act as customer contact for delivery inquiries and coordinate the sales order delivery process
• Manage incoming internal and external customer phone calls, exercising judgment within specification of standard practices.
• Ensure customer understands all relevant company policies including will calls, additional products ordered and driver responsibilities.
• Inform customer of warnings concerning product hazards, load limits, vehicle weights and limitations.
• Schedule workforce (drivers) on a daily basis with the intention of maximizing service and minimizing costs; manage drivers and monitor efficiencies throughout day.
• Review next day orders to ensure are correctly mapped, have accurate travel times, address and delivery
  instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Education Preferred: Associates degree
Required Work Experience: 2-3 years of industry experience
Required Technical Skills: Must have refined computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the internet.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator
• Above average written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc)
• Professional telephone etiquette
• Skills: Short haul trucking background & phone solicitation skills
• Physical Requirements: Candidate must be able to sit for long periods
• Additionally, they must be able to use common office tools and technology, such as cell/office telephone, calculator, and other electronic devices. Must be able to use computerized equipment and highly sophisticated computerized devices
• Ability to work in a stressful, deadline oriented environment that requires complex, technical information and decision making. Must have a strong analytical orientation
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approve
• Personal Protection Equipment , including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
