Job summary

Veolia Group's Water Tech Business seeks a Field Service Representative to safely commission and provide aftermarket support for our Reverse Osmosis product line. Travel across North America is expected during on-site service visits.

You will perform installations, maintenance, testing, and calibration, troubleshoot controls, and train customers while delivering clear service summaries and upholding safety and Veolia standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or international equivalent.
• 2+ years’ service/maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Preferred:Instrumentation/Controls programming knowledge and STEM degree.

Responsibilities

• Review customer plant installations against drawings (P&IDs, schematics).
• Monitor equipment performance and operation.
• Perform maintenance and calibration on treatment plant instrumentation.
• Conduct analytical testing (turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems on equipment.
• Install and maintain various EDR configurations.
• Provide informal customer training on operation and maintenance.
• Deliver detailed technical summaries after service visits.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and Veolia values.

Job Description

As a Field Service Representative (FSR), you will safely provide commissioning and aftermarket support to a diverse group of industrial and municipal customers primarily focused on our Reverse Osmosis product line.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)
• Monitor equipment performance and operation
• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on various treatment plant instrumentation
• Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, process, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, pumps, blowers, instrumentation, and automation hardware
• Perform installation & maintenance activities on various EDR configurations
• Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system
• Provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed during service visits
• Comply with company and customer safety guidelines and requirements

Education & Experience

Required

• High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment

Preferred

• Technical certificate in Instrumentation, Controls, or programming
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in science/engineering (STEM)
• Water treatment equipment experience including ultrafiltration and/or membrane bioreactors
• PLC Programming experience

Work Conditions

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, and using your hands and fingers in a skillful and coordinated way
• Work may take place in a range of environments, including but not limited to industrial sites, at elevated heights, or in confined spaces
• Must be available for on-call emergency response
• Must be capable of traveling within North America without any restrictions
• Travel: 50% to 70%
