Job summary

Veolia Group is a global leader in environmental services, delivering decarbonization and resource regeneration solutions. The Field Service Representative will support commissioning and after-market service for the Electrodialysis Reversal (EDR) product line, partnering with industrial and municipal customers across North America.

Traveling 50%–70% of the time, you will review installations, calibrate equipment, perform testing, and provide customer training while maintaining safety standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; international equivalents accepted.
• 2+ years’ service/maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Preferred: Technical certificate in Instrumentation/Controls or STEM degree.

Responsibilities

• Review customer plant installations against reference drawings and schematics.
• Monitor equipment performance and conduct maintenance on plant instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls issues on site.
• Provide informal training and detailed service summaries after visits.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and Veolia culture and values.

As a Field Service Representative (FSR),youwill safelyprovide commissioning and aftermarket support to a diverse group of industrialand municipalcustomers primarily focused on our Electrodialysis Reversal (EDR) product line.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)
• Monitor equipment performance and operation
• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on various treatment plant instrumentation
• Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, process, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, pumps, blowers, instrumentation, and automation hardware
• Perform installation &maintenance activities on various EDR configurations
• Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system
• Provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed during service visits
• Comply with company and customer safety guidelines and requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple shifting demands with professionalism and good judgment while adapting to dynamic business & industry situations
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams

Education & Experience:

Required

• High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment

Preferred

• Technical certificate in Instrumentation, Controls, or programming
• Associate's orBachelor's degree in science/engineering (STEM)
• Water treatment equipment experience including ultrafiltration and/or membrane bioreactors
• PLC Programming experience

Work Conditions:

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License
• Must be ableto perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, and using your hands and fingers in a skillful and coordinated way
• Work may take placein a range of environments, including but not limited to industrial sites, at elevated heights, or inconfined spaces
• Must be available for on-call emergency response
• Must be capable of traveling within North America without any restrictions
• Travel:50% to70%
