Job summary

Veolia Water Tech is seeking a Dispatch Field Service Representative to provide operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for diverse industries. You will work on technologies including RO, UF, and ion exchange, performing maintenance, calibration, and on-site analysis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years’ service/maintenance in industrial environment
• Current TWIC Card
• Current Driver’s License
• Bachelor or Associate STEM degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls on equipment such as valves, air compressors, process pumps, and instrumentation
• Create and maintain site paperwork, with detailed technical summaries of work performed
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Perform analytical testing (turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, etc.)
• Enter and complete work orders in MaintainX

Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Dispatch Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenanceexpertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. Thismission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, wastewater,softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, andultrafiltration (UF).

Key Characteristics

• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
• Consult with customer management and operation teams
• Excellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skills
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, aircompressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summariesof work performed
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement partsMonitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, inaddition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Enter and complete work orders in Maintenance Program (MaintainX)
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Required

• 2 years of experience in Industrial, oil field, refineries, chemical plants
• Electrical, chemical, and/or mechanical experience
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, online training, EHS reporting)
• Able to lift 50lbs

Preferred Skill

• Forklift Experience/Training

Qualifications

Education & Experience
Required:

• High School Diploma/GED/Home School Certification OR international equivalent
• 2+ years’experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• Current TWIC Card is required
• Current Driver’s License

Preferred (if applicable):

• Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate inInstrumentation, electrical, mechanical

Working Conditions

• 10% travel (training/other site visits)
• Hot, dirty, loud, moving equipment
• Working with chemicals for water treatment
