Job summary

Four Corners Materials in Farmington, NM is seeking a skilled Dispatch Clerk to schedule and dispatch material orders, receive phone orders, and maintain strong customer relations. The role requires a basic knowledge of the construction industry and the ability to dispatch trucks to meet customer demands.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in order taking and concrete dispatch, a high school diploma ( GED ) preferred, and a commitment to safety under MSHA/OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of the concrete and construction industry is preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in order taking and concrete dispatch is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive telephone orders from customers.
• Dispatch truck fleet according to customer’s demands.
• Ensure timely and accurate material delivery to the assigned job site.
• Maintain communication with current and future customers.
• Maintain dispatch facilities and keep in good working order all necessary equipment.
• Provide the Dispatch Manager with requests for new or replacement equipment when necessary.
• Follow all company policies and MSHA & OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environmental best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
