Job summary

PAM Transport in El Paso, TX is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to support daily operations and help drivers stay informed and on schedule.

You will assist drivers with information about loads, coordinate with customer service and shops, and ensure timely documentation and updates to KPI reports.

The role offers a weekday schedule with some weekend coverage and a competitive hourly pay range, reflecting the importance of accurate communication and efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience or familiarity with AS400 and MS Office preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with information about operations or load assignments.
• Coordinate with customer service on issues like out-of-service trailers and missing documents.
• Communicate with the shop for estimated repair times and priority trailers.
• Coordinate with inspectors regarding corrections and work orders.
• Issue paperwork and releases to MX Carriers/Drivers.
• Provide northbound bill of ladings to drivers after load confirmation.
• Provide administrative support to management.
• Perform general office duties as assigned.
• Receive and route south/north bound bill of ladings and determine load drops.
• Read and respond to emails daily.
• Upload documentation for crossing documents.
• Update KPI reports daily.

Our El Paso team is currently seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to join their team! The role involves dealing with day-to-day operations.

Pay and Schedule

• Tuesday -Friday 8:00am -5:00pm/ Saturday 7:00am-4:00pm
• Pay ranges $18-$20 an hour.

How will you contribute to the success of the team?

• Assisting drivers with any information they may need about the operation or load assignments.
• Communicate with customer service on out of service trailer, missing bill of lading, incorrect orders, transloads and broker hours.
• Communicate with the shop for estimated time repairs and priority trailers.
• Communicate with equipment/trailer inspectors about in and out corrections and work orders issues.
• Issuing paperwork and releases to MX Carriers/Drivers.
• Provide northbound bill of ladings to drivers after confirming load information.
• Provide administrative support to management.
• Performs general office duties as assigned.
• Receive south and north bound bill of ladings from drivers to determine where the load drops.
• Reading and responding to emails daily.
