Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures seeks a Dispatch Analyst to optimize the delivery network using ORTEC routing software and ensure on-time service. You will build and publish daily routes, manage outlet master data, and coordinate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to meet customer expectations.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years in data analytics or dispatch/routing, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business analytics, computer science, or related field.
• Two or more years of data analytics experience.
• Experience in dispatching, routing, or transportation operations.
• Hands-on with ORTEC routing and optimization software.
• Strong understanding of delivery operations, DOT/HOS, and driver workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and publish daily delivery routes using ORTEC.
• Manage master data of outlets in assigned areas.
• Validate route efficiency, miles, stops per hour, and time window compliance.
• Dispatch drivers daily with clear route, stop, and service expectations.
• Collaborate with sales and distribution to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Escalate safety, service, or master data issues as needed.
• Communicate delays or exceptions to internal stakeholders.
• Support contingency planning during disruptions.
