Job summary

The Ministry of Justice is seeking an analytical professional to join the Analysis Directorate. You will support the Disparities Unit, improving recording, analysis and reporting of equalities data for staff, prisoners and probationers.

You will develop dashboards, produce briefings and collaborate with policy teams to identify drivers of disparity. This is a hybrid role based in the UK, with opportunities to visit frontline services.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with ownership of analytics tasks.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and systems.
• Experience with prisons and probation data is desirable.
• Clear communication of complex information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and regular reporting on equality, diversity and inclusion measures.
• Prepare datasets, analytical products and briefings for senior leaders.
• Identify data quality issues and propose practical solutions.
• Take ownership of defined analytical projects and collaborate across teams.
