Job summary

Green Electronic Solutions is seeking a Dismantling Associate to break down electronic equipment and prepare materials for recycling. You will use hand and power tools to dismantle items like computers and monitors, sort materials into streams, and assist with balers and packaging.

This is a hands-on, on-site warehouse role focused on safety and efficiency. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in warehouse, recycling, or production settings and are comfortable lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in warehouse, recycling or production.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools with care.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift safely.
• Team player and eager to learn.
• English and Spanish skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble electronic goods using hand and power tools.
• Sort materials into recycling streams (plastics, metals, boards, wiring).
• Operate or assist with balers and other machinery.
• Prepare dismantled components for packaging and shipment.
• Inspect items to determine processing needs.
• Keep the dismantling area clean, organized, and hazard-free.

What You’ll Do as a Dismantling Associate

As a key member of our Dismantling Team, you’ll play an essential role in breaking down electronic equipment and preparing materials for recycling or shipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Safely using hand tools and power tools to dismantle electronic goods like computers, televisions, and LCD monitors.
• Sorting and separating materials such as plastics, metals, circuit boards, and wiring into appropriate recycling streams.
• Operating or assisting with machinery like balers to process recyclable materials.
• Preparing dismantled components for packaging and shipment.
• Inspecting electronic items to determine how materials should be processed.
• Keeping the dismantling area clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Following all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and tools.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Performing other warehouse and recycling duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking motivated individuals who are ready to learn and contribute to our mission. Here’s what will make you a great fit for the role:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, recycling, manufacturing, or production environment is preferred.
• Skills: Comfortable using hand tools and power tools, with good attention to detail for sorting materials accurately.
• Physical Ability: Capable of working on your feet, performing repetitive tasks, and safely lifting and handling electronic equipment.
• Team Player: Dependable, hardworking, and willing to collaborate with others.
• Willingness to Learn: Open to mastering proper dismantling and recycling procedures.
• Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

This is an active warehouse role where you’ll work with electronic equipment, tools, machinery, and recyclable materials. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are expected to follow proper procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
