Job summary

Pinehurst Resort is seeking a dishwasher/Steward to wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, following health department standards. This entry-level role supports the Food & Beverage team across outlets, maintaining clean dish areas and equipment, and ensuring supplies are stocked for service.

Responsibilities include operating the dishwasher, loading/unloading, cleaning the area, and assisting with buffets and event setups.

Qualifications

• High School Education and a minimum of one month related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures relating to essential functions and overall Resort operations.
• Set up, break down and operate dishwasher; fill with water and change water as specified; check and replace soap.
• Clean and sanitize dishware and storage areas; maintain clean, organized storage and equipment.
• Clean back loading dock; maintain it free of carts, equipment and debris.
• Assist in buffets setup and breakdown; gather china, glassware and silverware for events.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the Food & Beverage heart of the house operation.
