Job summary

Punderson Manor Lodge is seeking a reliable housekeeping/culinary support staff member to maintain cleanliness of dishes and serve ware while upholding sanitation standards. The role supports kitchen and dining areas and requires adherence to safety protocols to ensure guest satisfaction.

The position involves dishwashing, sanitation, garbage handling, and basic kitchen upkeep. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 lbs with assistance, and work holidays or weekends

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and understand English.
• Be courteous to guests and other employees.
• Must be able to stand and exert fast paced mobility.
• Must be able to repeatedly bend/stoop, frequently push/pull, and occasionally squat, reach above shoulder level, kneel and balance.
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs, and lift 75 lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and other shifts as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all dishes and utensils are clean, sanitized, and put away in proper place
• Empty, compact and dispose all garbage into the trash bin in a safe manner
• Sweep and mop kitchen and refrigerator floors
• Clean, sweep back dock area
• Clean and perform other duties pertaining to sanitation
• Use proper safety precautions when using cleaning chemicals
• Additional responsibilities assigned by management
