Job summary

Proof of the Pudding, an award-winning catering company, seeks experienced Bartenders to join the team for football gameday and other sporting events at Auburn University’s Jordan-Hare Stadium.

This is seasonal/part-time work aligned with athletic events; responsibilities include bar setup, guest service, timely prep and teardown, and coordination with the front of house. TIPs certification required; 2+ years bartending; strong communication; neat grooming; ability to lift ~40 lbs.

• Must be TIPs certified (will accept similar accredited certifications).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for pre and post bar set-up/break down.
• Sets bar up in a timely manner and assists bar back with replenishment.
• Greets guests and provides exceptional customer service.
• Cleans bar after closing and returns items to bar box.
• Works with front of house team during events.

This standard was upheld through the expansion into Sports and Entertainment Hospitality Services by providing elevated concessions and premium offerings to collegiate stadiums, PGA golf tournaments, International Boat Shows, Professional Sports Teams, & more.Proof of the Pudding, premier food service provider of Food & Beverage for all Premium/Suites Hospitality locations at Auburn University’s Jordan-Hare Stadium, is currently seeking experienced Bartenders to join the team. This position will work with the front of house team in the hospitality and club suites for football gameday and other sporting events.This is seasonal/part-time work as business needs are dictated by athletic events.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for both pre & post bar set-up/break down responsibilities.Sets bar up in a timely manner.Communicates well with bar back during event to assist them with replenishment during shift.Greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service.Attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event.Cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice.Responsible for placing all items back in bar box as originally received.Performs other related duties as requiredEducation and/or Experience:2+ years of bartending experienceMust be a team player and a phenomenal communicator.Must be experienced in preparing mixed drinks.Must have exceptional customer service skills.Must be TIPs certified (will accept similar accredited certifications).Must be extremely hardworking and organized.Must be exceedingly responsible and accountable.Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.Specialized Skills:Excellent listening and communication skills.Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 40 lbs.Renowned time management and organization skills.Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs.The ability to work alone and as a team.Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.Must have impeccable integrity for the business, the community, and the Proof of the Pudding team.Work EnvironmentThe work environment for this position will be event operations and working out of the Football Stadium or similar venues.
