Golden Corral in Anderson, IN is seeking a Dishwasher/Utility Person to support kitchen staff by washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with food prep as needed.

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends. No prior experience is required; training will be provided, and the team emphasizes safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment in a timely manner to support kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, ensuring that all supplies (soap, detergents, etc.) are stocked and ready for use.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing workstations, floors, and other areas of the kitchen, including trash removal.
• Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash items as necessary.
• Cleans the inside of the restaurant to provide a pleasant, safe environment for guests and Co-workers.
• Cleans around the outside of the building and the parking lot.
• Checks, cleans, and stocks the rest rooms.
• Empties trash into the dumpster and keeps the dumpster, trash cans and back dock area clean.
• Thoroughly cleans and organizes the utility area.
• Performs duty roster and CSQ responsibilities.
• Ensure all dishes and equipment are properly sanitized according to food safety standards.
• Help with food prep when needed, such as peeling, chopping, and storing ingredients.
• Assist with restocking clean dishes, glassware, and utensils in their appropriate locations.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure dishes and utensils are available when needed.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and food items.
