Job summary

Golden Corral is seeking a reliable Dishwasher/Utility Person to support kitchen operations and keep our dining areas clean.

In this role you will wash dishes, assist with food prep when needed, and help maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen environment while collaborating with a friendly team.

Flexible scheduling and on-the-job training are provided, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required (training will be provided).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment in a timely manner to support kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, ensuring supplies are stocked and ready for use.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing workstations, floors, and other areas of the kitchen, including trash removal.
• Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash items as necessary.
• Cleans the inside of the restaurant to provide a pleasant, safe environment for guests and co-workers.
• Cleans around the outside of the building and the parking lot.
• Checks, cleans, and stocks the restrooms.
• Empties trash into the dumpster and keeps the dumpster, trash cans and back dock area clean.
• Thoroughly cleans and organizes the utility area.
• Performs duty roster and CSQ responsibilities.
• Ensure all dishes and equipment are properly sanitized according to food safety standards.
• Help with food prep when needed, such as peeling, chopping, and storing ingredients.
• Assist with restocking clean dishes, glassware, and utensils in their appropriate locations.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure dishes and utensils are available when needed.
