Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes #458 is seeking a Dishwasher to keep bakery equipment clean and ready for cake production. You'll be part of a friendly team and gain opportunities for advancement while enjoying flexible scheduling and a casual dress code.

Qualifications

• No formal education or work experience required, but prior experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manually washes and sanitizes all baking pans, dishes, utensils and other tools.
• Monitors sanitization levels to ensure health & safety compliance.
• Assists baker with preparing raw ingredients and equipment for baking.
• Assists with daily baking and production flow and processes.
• Packages, labels and stores baked cakes; maintains logs.
• Gathers and removes garbage, sweeps and mops floors, cleans drains.
• Cleans windows, shelves, counters, refrigerator, cooler and bathroom.
• Restocks workstation and ensures supplies are prepared for next shift.
• Monitors inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies when replenishment is required.
• Supports team in cleaning and organizing workstations.
• Follows health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code.
• Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality.

Job responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

• Manually washes, rinses and sanitizes all baking pans, dishes, utensils and other tools in a thorough and timely manner and adheres to all NbC standards.
• Monitors sanitization levels to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Assists baker with accurately preparing raw ingredients and equipment for baking, places cake pans into hot oven and monitors the baking process.
• Assists baker with daily baking and production flow and processes
• Adheres to the proper packaging, labeling and storage of baked cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintains baking and refrigeration logs.
• Gathers and removes garbage, sweeps and mops floors, and cleans floor drains.
• Performs routine cleaning of windows, shelves, counters, refrigerator, cooler and bathroom.
• Cleans, sanitizes and restocks workstation and ensures all cleaning supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift.
• Monitors inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies management when replenishment is required.
• Assists in the unloading, processing and storage of weekly supplies delivery.
• Supports other team members in cleaning and organizing workstations as needed.
• Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Is able to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents such as recipes, operating procedures and health and safety rules, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
• Has the ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require the strength to lift items of moderate to heavy weight (as much as 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time.
• Is able to operate commercial-grade ovens and other bakery equipment and work adjacent to a high-heat source.
• Can evaluate processes, information and surroundings to determine compliance with standards.
• Possesses the discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
• Is diligent, organized and self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:
