Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group in Beloit, WI is seeking a Dishwasher to support our kitchen and banquet teams, ensuring every guest leaves with a lasting impression. You’ll wash, sanitize and return dishes, help with basic prep tasks, and keep the dish area organized to help cook lines run smoothly.

We value reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. The role requires U.S. work authorization, is on-site, and attracting candidates with prior kitchen experience or a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred
• Age 16 years or older

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes in a timely fashion
• Practice safe knife handling; seek guidance as needed
• Return all cleaned dishes to proper locations
• Perform basic maintenance on dishwashing equipment and notify supervisors of issues
• Assist with trash removal as needed
• Contribute to food preparation duties per kitchen needs
• Open/close the kitchen following the opening/closing checklist

YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS

In this role, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.

As the Dishwasher, you will sort, wash and return all dishes and utensils to food operations throughout kitchen and banquet areas. You will also expedite clean dishes and utensils to the cook line and other areas of Food/Beverage on an as-needed basis.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes in a timely fashion as they enter the dish room
• Practice safe knife handling; if training is needed, see the Chef
• Return all cleaned dishes, glassware, etc. to proper location
• Responsible for basic preventative maintenance of dishwashing equipment and communicating with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef when something requires attention
• Trash removal as needed
• Food preparation duties as determined by the Sous or Executive Chef
• Open/close the kitchen properly and follow the opening/closing checklist for kitchen stations

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

• You are 16 years of age or older
• You have previous kitchen experience (preferred but not mandatory)

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

• U.S. Work Authorization (required).
