Job summary

José Andrés Group is seeking a Dishwasher/Steward in a high-volume kitchen. You will operate the dish machine and 3-compartment sink, maintain sanitation, and support culinary and serving teams during peak service.

Qualified candidates have 6+ months of steward/dish experience, knowledge of basic sanitation, and flexibility to work nights and weekends. Training provided; applicable safety protocols and certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• 6+ months steward/dish experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred; we will train the right candidate.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation, ware washing, and safe chemical handling; Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain).
• Organized, reliable, and team-oriented; able to follow checklists and direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Schedule flexibility (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Wash, rack, and air-dry wares; operate dish machine and 3-compartment sink to standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per DOH standards; follow allergy/cross-contact protocols.
• Stock wares and par levels; restock stations throughout service.
