José Andrés Group is seeking a dependable kitchen dishwasher to support our bustling restaurants. You will clean and sanitize dishes, glassware and utensils, manage the dish room, and assist with additional kitchen duties as needed.

You’ll operate dish machines and pot sinks per specifications, measure detergents and sanitizers, and help keep storage areas tidy and sanitary. Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand 100% of shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs regularly.
• Handle knives, pots and utensils safely.
• Operate dish machines and maintain sanitation.
• Handle chemicals properly and safely.

Responsabilités

• Properly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of dish room and dish machine.
• Assist with cleaning other areas of the restaurant as requested.
• Operate dish machines and pot sinks to company and manufacturer specifications.
• Use proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer.
• Ensure dish machine and pots are calibrated to comply with sanitation codes.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Restock dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans.
• Remove garbage and recyclables.
• Break down, clean, and sanitize the dish machine and pot sinks at end of shift.
• Keep dish and storage areas clean and organized.
• Follow safe and sanitary procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested by Chef/Management.
