Job summary

HOMES in Ann Arbor, MI, is seeking a Dishwasher/Steward to join our energetic restaurant community. This full-time role runs 9am–2pm daily with opportunities to learn and grow alongside our brewery, kitchen, coffee shop, and events teams.

You’ll help set up and clean, support the chef, and act as a communication link between kitchen and floor staff to keep service running smoothly. Prior experience is not required, and we value enthusiasm and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef with kitchen setup and maintain a clean workspace.
• Communicate between kitchen and floor staff to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain mise en place and keep equipment and service ware stocked.
• Clean floors and prep areas to maximize efficiency.
• Support the fast-growing team with other tasks as needed.

Our Dozer kitchen is looking for a Dishwasher/Steward to join the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys expressing themselves and desires to build their skills within a community of dynamic, growing businesses. Availability needs to be 9am - 2pm daily. Tons of room to learn and grow!

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Chef in start-to-finish kitchen set up, with consistent execution and dedication to a clean space and equipment
• Be a communication channel to kitchen and floor staff to facilitate seamless service while bringing fresh ideas and techniques to the conversation
• “Mise en place” it up! Strive to set-up and maintain an clean, organized workspace in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring equipment and service ware is stocked
• Perform general cleaning on the floor and in the kitchen prep areas in tandem with staff to maximize efficiency
• …and any other tasks that help our fast-growing team succeed!

Job Type: Full-time (30+ hours per week)

Pay: $17/hr

Experience: Not required!
