Job summary

HOMES in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Dishwasher/Steward for the Dozer kitchen. Schedule runs 9am–2pm daily, with a full-time (30+ hours/week) commitment and a pay rate of $17/hour.

You will support kitchen setup, maintain a clean workspace, and collaborate with staff to ensure seamless service. We offer health, dental, and vision insurance, employee discounts, flexible scheduling, and room for growth in responsibility and pay.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef in start-to-finish kitchen set up, with consistent execution and dedication to a clean space and equipment.
• Be a communication channel to kitchen and floor staff to facilitate seamless service while bringing fresh ideas and techniques to the conversation.
• “Mise en place” it up! Strive to set-up and maintain an clean, organized workspace in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring equipment and service ware is stocked.
• Perform general cleaning on the floor and in the kitchen prep areas in tandem with staff to maximize efficiency.

Our Dozer kitchen is looking for a Dishwasher/Steward to join the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys expressing themselves and desires to build their skills within a community of dynamic, growing businesses. Availability needs to be 9am - 2pm daily.
