Job summary

HOMES in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Dishwasher/Steward to join our Campus kitchen. This full-time role offers hands-on learning in a fast-paced, creative food and beverage community where you support kitchen operations and help maintain safety and cleanliness.

You will work closely with the Chef and staff to set up stations, keep equipment stocked, perform floor and prep-area cleaning, and contribute to a smooth service. No prior experience required; opportunities to grow exist.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef in start-to-finish kitchen setup with a clean workspace.

• Mise en place: keep a clean, organized workspace and ensure equipment and service ware are stocked.
• Perform general cleaning in the kitchen and prep areas to maximize efficiency.
• Contribute to the fast-growing team’s success.

Our Campus kitchen is looking for a Dishwasher/Steward to join the team. What You'll Do:

• Support the Chef in start-to-finish kitchen set up, with consistent execution and dedication to a clean space and equipment
• Be a communication channel to kitchen and floor staff to facilitate seamless service while bringing fresh ideas and techniques to the conversation
• Mise en place? it up! Strive to set-up and maintain an clean, organized workspace in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring equipment and service ware is stocked
• Perform general cleaning on the floor and in the kitchen prep areas in tandem with staff to maximize efficiency
• and any other tasks that help our fast-growing team succeed!

Job Type: Full-time (30+ hours per week) Pay: $17-$19 Experience: Not required!
