What you will be doing

In this role, you will operate dishwashing equipment, store clean dishes, clean designated equipment, dispose of kitchen substances and chemicals properly, empty and clean trash cans, transport garbage containers to dump sites, and adhere to recycling regulations. The Steward will sweep and mop the kitchen floor at the end of each meal period and after spills. You will also clean and organize the work area and kitchen equipment to maximize efficiency. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Basic reading, writing, and math skills are required, with some laundry experience preferred. You may need to work nights, weekends, or holidays. The physical requirements include regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, standing and moving about the work area frequently, handling objects and equipment, bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in areas of high temperature around heavy equipment.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 months of related experience or training is preferred.
