Job Overview

Under general supervision, responsible for providing clean and sanitary ware to the restaurant and kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Collect, rinse, and organize dirty dishware, ensuring removal of leftovers and trash.
• Load and operate automatic dishwashing machines following instructions.
• Manage dishwashing solutions and monitor chemical levels.
• Inspect and stack cleaned dishes for easy access by staff.
• Manually clean pots, pans, and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Polish silverware and metalware to present a clean appearance.
• Maintain dishwashing equipment in good working order.
• Keep the dish room clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
• Clean kitchen surfaces and floors regularly.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Demands

• Ability to see small objects at arm's length and read controls.
