Job summary

Oakmont of Silver Creek in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Dishwasher to ensure dishes and utensils are returned, cleaned, sanitized, and stored per our standards.

The role requires at least 6 months in a kitchen, 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and good communication with staff and residents. Health screenings and background checks are required. We offer benefits, meals, retirement plan, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Six months of experience in a kitchen or similar setting preferred.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including TB.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to kitchen after meals; wash, sanitize, and store properly.
• Assist with kitchen clean-up and sanitation; empty trash.
• Respond to resident concerns in a professional, caring manner.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
