Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to maintain a hygienic kitchen and dining environment. You will clean, sanitize, and transport dishes, supporting dining room and kitchen staff while upholding health standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, English communication skills, and adherence to safety guidelines. Schedule is as needed for AM and PM shifts with a pay rate of $17.00–$17.50 per hour. MBK offers a rich benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certificate, preferred.
• Food Handler’s Permit, as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and organize dish storage and washing areas in accordance with community safety and department policies.
• Clean and sanitize all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, ensuring proper restocking.
• Complete general cleanup and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas, including sinks, washing machines, tables, ranges, shelves, and trash bins.
• Maintain the dish machine and sinks, monitor detergent levels, and report issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure water is at the correct temperature for cleaning, rinsing, and sanitizing.
• Transport meals to the CFL neighborhood, maintaining correct temperatures during transit.
• Assist cooks with basic food preparation and transport food carts as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and follow SDS guidelines.
• Avoid hazards and maintain a safe environment for staff and residents.
