Job summary

The Ivy at Berkeley, managed by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Dishwasher to ensure dishes and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and stored in line with our mission and values. You will support meal service, help maintain a tidy kitchen, and assist with overall cleanliness and safety across dining areas.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and the ability to pass background and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests required (including TB).
• Vaccination and safety protocols may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to the kitchen, wash and sanitize, and return to storage.
• Assist with kitchen clean-up and sanitation of dish room, dining areas, and equipment.
• Respond to resident concerns in a professional and caring manner.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
