Job summary

Ivy Park at Santa Rosa is seeking a reliable dishwasher on call to support meal service and kitchen operations. You will prepare the dish area, transport and clean wares, and assist with overall sanitation while ensuring resident needs are addressed with care.

Candidates should have basic kitchen experience, be at least 18, and pass background and health screenings. This role supports a premier senior living community and requires teamwork and safety adherence throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Able to communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, residents and families.
• Capable of passing criminal background and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport all dishes to the kitchen after meals.
• Clear, wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Return clean dishes to storage areas and assist with kitchen cleanup.
• Perform general sanitation of the dish room, kitchen and dining areas.
• Respond professionally to resident concerns and complaints.
• Maintain a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
