Job summary

Milestone Retirement is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to keep dishes clean, sanitized, and properly stored while supporting a smooth dining service. You will report to the Dining Room Manager or Director, Culinary Services, contributing to a safe, clean kitchen and dining environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass state-required fingerprinting and criminal background check.
• First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive customer service culture in the dining room.
• Transport dishes to the kitchen and maintain a clean dining area.
• Clear, wash, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and tabletop items.
• Return dishes and utensils to appropriate storage areas.
• Ensure safe work practices for yourself and coworkers; comply with Safety Committee Standards.
• Complete sanitation and cleanup tasks for dish room, kitchen, dining areas, steam tables, sinks, and drains.
• Empty trash and follow daily cleaning schedules.
• Assist with serving residents in the dining room as needed.
• Maintain flexibility with daily schedule, including weekends or evenings as needed.
• Display friendliness and professionalism when interacting with residents, families, and visitors.
