Primavera Pizza and Pasta in Ocean City, New Jersey is seeking a dishwasher to join the busy kitchen for the summer season. You’ll help keep dishes, utensils and cookware clean, while supporting cooks and servers on a fast-paced boardwalk operation.

Ideal candidates are university students aged 18-25 on the Work & Travel USA program, with basic English, reliability, and a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role offers 40 hours per week and meals on shift.

• Reliable, punctual and ready to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Physically fit - comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, pizza pans, pots and cooking utensils by hand and using commercial dishwashing machines.
• Keep the dish area, sinks and work stations clean, organized and sanitary.
• Restock clean plates, cutlery and kitchen equipment for the cooks and servers.
• Take out trash, break down boxes and assist with general kitchen cleaning.
• Support the kitchen team with simple food prep tasks when needed.
• Follow all health, hygiene and food safety standards.

Your Role as a Dishwasher

As a Dishwasher, you are the backbone of the kitchen. Your energy keeps the whole operation moving during the busiest weeks of the season.
