Job summary

Piezanos Pizza South in Ocean City, Maryland is hiring a Dishwasher / Kitchen Support for the summer season. You will be part of a fast-paced kitchen on the South Boardwalk, earning $16.00 per hour and working around 40 hours per week with overtime often available during peak times.

Ideal candidates are university students 18–25 on a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa with basic English, a strong work ethic and a team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, pizza pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand and using a commercial dishwashing machine.
• Keeping the dish pit, sinks, and work stations clean, organised and stocked.
• Restocking clean plates, trays and utensils for the front-of-house and kitchen team.
• Taking out trash, breaking down boxes and helping with recycling.
• Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors and assisting with opening/closing cleaning duties.
• Supporting cooks with basic food prep tasks when needed.
• Following all health, hygiene and food safety standards.

That is everyday life at Piezanos Pizza South, a busy, much-loved pizza spot on the South Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland - and we are looking for energetic international students to join our kitchen team this summer.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Dishwasher, you are the backbone of a fast-moving pizza kitchen. Your daily responsibilities will include:
