Job summary

Esplanade Madeira Ranch in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a part-time dishwasher/prep cook to join Troon's hospitality team. You will support kitchen operations, keep utensils clean, and contribute to a fast-paced, guest-focused dining environment.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, stand 6–8 hours, and maintain health-code standards. A current Food Handler Card is required; high school diploma preferred; eligibility for benefits applies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and handle heavy items.
• Stand/walk for 6–8 hours per shift.
• Clear communication of guest needs to staff.
• Carry trays and supplies as required.
• Maintain health and safety standards in all duties.

Responsibilities

• Provides guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plate ware, glassware and equipment.
• Ensures dishes are sanitized and available as needed.
• Keep sanitation solutions up to health department code standards at all times.
• Maintains daily cleanliness and maintenance of the dish machine.
• Washes plate ware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans and kitchen utensils according to procedures.
• Places clean plate ware, glassware, silverware and pots/pans on specified shelves per sanitation rules.
• Keeps the kitchen and employee lunchroom clean by sweeping and mopping floors and taking out trash.
