Job summary

The Parkside is seeking a hardworking Dishwasher / Prep Cook to support back-of-house operations in a fast-paced kitchen. This role emphasizes cleanliness, efficiency, and teamwork to ensure smooth shifts.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, maintaining sanitation, and assisting with basic food prep while upholding food safety standards. Training is provided for the right candidate and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays availability is REQUIRED.
• Previous kitchen experience is preferred but training will be provided.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Ability to stand for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong work ethic and team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, trash areas, sinks, and prep stations.
• Assist with basic food prep and ingredient organization.
• Properly store clean equipment and utensils.
• Help receive and put away inventory deliveries.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
