Job description

This is a unique opportunity for an individual with extensive experience in the restaurant industry to join our team. We are looking for a Dishwasher/Prep Cook who has a strong work ethic and strong customer service skills. This candidate will work closely with our executive chef and sous chef to ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and will be required to prepare appetizers and lunch recipes in an efficient manner. The right candidate will have prior experience working in an upscale casual restaurant, or alternatively, in a fast food or a quick service environment.

Responsibilities:

• Follow appropriate sanitation and safety procedures
• Be able to follow all portioning and cooking guidelines
• Have knowledge of common food allergens
• Follow food storage and handling guidelines
• Be able to complete side work orders quickly and accurately
• Be able to follow the correct order of cooking a customer's order
• Be able to accurately complete a register tape at the end of the shift
